THE PREHISTORY

In year 2013 a terrible catastrophe happened in the center of Kiev, with a cause remaining unknown still. The major part of Ukraine turned into a huge abnormal zone. Great numbers of people died or disappeared, and those who survived were telling unbelievable things...



The anomaly couldn’t be viewed from a satellite, and all attempts to study it gave scant results… After ten years of silence that followed the catastrophe, an event happened, later called the "First Aggression" - the anomaly started growing swiftly, claiming the territory of Europe and begetting thousands of bloodthirsty creatures.



However, on unclear reasons, they were unable to adapt to terrestrial environment, and everything became quiet for a while…



The appearance of strange creatures, frighteningly resembling human beings, was the main reason to announce quarantine. The Death Line was raised around the anomaly – it was a wall made of armor blocks, with minefields and machine-gun emplacements around the perimeter. So those who couldn’t evacuate out of the quarantine zone were cut off from the rest of the world forever.



Years have passed. The people left in the zone started to found small settlements. Relatively safe wastelands were now called "The Dump", and the epicenter of the zone was called - "The Hole".



First clans appeared, led by the Lords - the people with enough strength and courage to lead others...


THE STORY
The game events take place in the year of 2096, during the "Second Aggression" of the anomaly, which destroyed most of the clans. On unknown reasons, all Lords perish in an explosion.

Rodan - is the last of the Lords, who survived miraculously; he wants to learn the real cause of his father’s death.
He doesn’t know yet that he is just a pawn in a big game where true morale is sold and bought, and a human life isn’t worth anything…

…But life is very unpredictable. Even a pawn can play a deciding role in this game…

So what is the anomaly? What was its cause? Who is Rodan and why they try to hunt him down?
How all of this can be linked to the history of the humankind?
...today, right now...
it’s already happening...
